As a Regional Sales Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all Ruhrpumpen sales and customer support activities within your defined territory. You will lead strategic account development, drive revenue growth, and expand market share while delivering value across Ruhrpumpen’s full product and aftermarket service offerings.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
·       Act as the single point of contact for customers within the assigned territory.
·       Drive growth across all market segments by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
·       Maintain active communication with internal teams (engineering, operations, customer support) to ensure alignment and execution.
·       Develop and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers and influencers to grow business and increase customer engagement.
·       Collaborate with customers to understand, define, and deliver tailored solutions.
·       Manage territory forecasts, budgets, and cost control using company-approved systems and processes.
·       Lead negotiations on technical, commercial, and legal terms and conditions.
·       Maintain accurate and timely updates in CRM systems, including customer interactions, forecasting, and competitive market intelligence.
·       Analyze industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to support strategic decision-making.
·       Leverage digital tools and API-driven integrations to enhance customer engagement, streamline sales processes, and improve data visibility across CRM and business systems.
·       Collaborate with internal IT and digital teams to support integration of customer systems (via APIs), enabling improved data exchange, automation of order processes, and enhanced customer experience.
·       Identify opportunities to utilize data analytics, connected systems, and APIs to optimize sales performance, forecasting accuracy, and customer insights.
 
 
Job Requirements
 
·       Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
·       5+ years of experience in similar roles, selling pump products and services in Canada.
·       Proven experience working with CRM platforms and digital tools, with exposure to API integrations or data-driven sales environments considered a strong asset.
·       Availability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
·       Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
·       Strong ability to develop and execute strategic territory and business plans.
·       Results-oriented mindset with strong negotiation and problem-solving capabilities.
