Sales Engineer
Porto Alegre, Brazil - Full Time
As a Sales Engineer in Ruhrumpumpen you will be responsible for managing existing clients and prospecting for new ones, with the goal of increasing sales, expanding market share, and profitably growing Ruhrpumpen’s entire portfolio of products and services. Your role will center on the sale of spare parts, services, and pumping technology equipment, ranging from standard to highly engineered solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage customer relations
- Develop and maintain active relationships with current and prospective customers to meet their requirements
- Sell our products and services to established customers.
- Locate and develop new customers and sales potentials
- Negotiate orders, including all technical, commercial, and legal details to mutual satisfaction of all parties
- Visit customer locations to ensure close and regular face to face contact.
- Entertain customers during and outside normal business hours on a regular bases.
- Complete monthly activity reports and project reports/ analysis to support management strategy
Requeriments:
- Must be live in Porto Alegre/Brazil.
- Bachelor in Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- Desired experience selling new pump or valves.
- Highly motivated
- Availability and willingness to travel to customer locations up to 50% of the time.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to develop and execute individual business plans
- Experience selling through EPC companies for Industrial Market is preferred
- Good command of English (verbal and written).
- Proficient in Spanish language will be an added Advantage.
