Job Summary
Provides sales & customer support coverage, management and strategic focus for the North American End-user Sales of Ruhrpumpen in a defined territory and/or account lists.  End-user Sales is responsible for increasing sales, market share and profits for all Ruhrpumpen product lines, as well as Non-OEM products, as defined in sales strategies; with a focus on repairs & retrofits of all brands of pumping equipment (OEM or Non-OEM),  mechanical optimization, parts, and new pumps sales, across all market segments. 
Responsibilities and Duties
· Grow business in all market segments by calling on assigned customers on a regular basis.
·Maintain active communication and relationships with respective in-house personnel
· Develop and maintain active relationships with buying influences and develop new relationships to maintain and grow customer / territory interactions
· Identify and develop new customers and new sales potentials
· Responsible for territory/customer forecast, budgets, and cost control via company approved systems, methods, and policies.
·  Represent all Ruhrpumpen products including Non OEM products as defined in sales strategies
·  Partner with customers to understand project specifications and scope requirements to insure proposals are generated to meet requirements
·  Recommend changes to Key Account sales strategies / tactics as they are periodically evaluated for effectiveness.
· Negotiate orders, including all technical, commercial, and legal details to mutual satisfaction of all parties
· Provide new pump opportunities to OE Inside Sales Group for quoting and specifications.
·  Travel to customer locations to ensure close and regular face to face contact.
·Entertain customers during and outside normal business hours on regular bases.
· Complete monthly activity reports and forecasts including industry / market / account competitive analysis to support management strategy
Qualifications and Skills
· Open to travel 
·  Candidate must live in Texas Area or Oklahoma area
·  Ability to communicate ideas, concepts, solutions, customer pay-back at all levels of the customer’s at a high professional level.  Ability to manage a sales territory, develop and execute individual business plans.

· Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or Similar
·  5+years Pump Industry Experience
