Regional Sales Manager – Industrial Pumps (OEM & Distribution)

We’re looking for an experienced and driven OEM Sales Engineer to grow our distribution and OEM sales across the Midwest. In this role, you’ll manage and expand our existing distributor network, identify new partners, and drive sales strategies that increase market share and customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do:
Manage and grow the indirect sales channel (distribution) and OEM accounts within your assigned territory.
Evaluate and enhance the performance of current channel partners through joint sales calls, training, and support.
Identify, qualify, and onboard new distributors to meet aggressive sales goals.
Support distributor personnel to become self-sufficient in presenting, quoting, and promoting Ruhrpumpen products.
Maintain detailed records in the CRM and provide insights on sales performance, competitive landscape, and market trends.
Coordinate with Market Managers to expand distribution channel reach and deliver tailored training and sales strategies.
Travel within the region up to 70% of the time (overnights expected).
Who You Are:
A skilled sales professional with at least 3 years of experience in industrial pumps or related rotating equipment.
Well-versed in distribution sales models and OEM sales cycles.
Comfortable working independently and building lasting relationships with partners and customers.
Organized, analytical, and proactive, with strong CRM and reporting discipline.
Based near a major airport in the Midwest (Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Louis, Minneapolis, etc.).
