As a regional Sales Engineer for Venezuela, you will provide a single point contact for all Ruhrpumpen sales & customer support, managing the defined territory and leading strategic focus with regular interface for assigned accounts and development of new ones. You will be responsible for increase sales, (both directly and through distributor network), to expand market share and profitably grow for all Ruhrpumpen product, offerings as well as aftermarket services. This will be achieved with focus on sales of new pump equipment (projects, replacements, duplicates), as well as Aftermarket (parts, service, repair and upgrades) through optimization of the defined territory and regular management interaction.
 
Main responsibilities:
  • Single Point of Contact calling on customers in the territory on a regular basis to grow the business in all market segments, per the guidelines established
  • Develop and maintain active relationships with buying influences and maintenance professionals and develop new relationships to maintain and grow customer / territory interactions.
  • Identify and work with customers to understand and define individual needs
  • Responsible for territory/customer forecast, budgets, and cost control via company approved systems, methods, and policies.
  • Represent all Ruhrpumpen products including Non-OEM products as defined in sales strategies.
  • Partner with customers to understand project specifications and scope requirements to ensure proposals are generated to meet requirements.
  • Negotiate orders, including all technical, commercial, and legal terms and conditions to mutual satisfaction of all parties
  • Provide new pump opportunities to Inside Sale Team for quoting and specifications.
  • Maintain updated information related to client’s satisfaction.
  • Evaluate market potential and forecast results and trends.
 
Job's requirements:
  • Legal residence and work authorization in Venezuela required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience in similar roles in the Pump industry in Venezuelan market
  • Experience in B2B Sales to the Chemical, Oil & Gas and/or Industry in General
  • Extensive knowledge of the market and technical knowledge of pumps applied to the products and services as well as of mechanical seals
  • Extensive working relationship with key people in the industry, capable to relate with customer and representatives
  • Availability and willingness for constant traveling (70-80% of the time).
  • English level B2 is requiered
  • Good decision-making skills, analytical, results oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with CRM platforms in a sales or marketing environment, Salesforce/Sugar
  • High professional ethics
